About

I've been into computers since I can remember myself.

Back in my childhood days I was fascinated by the books "I was in the computer city" and "Professor Fortran's Encyclopedia", also by building LEGOs according to my own intricate designs.

However, PCs were still quite rare and I didn't have much actual experience beyond launching video games in the MS-DOS environment on an i486. Commander Keen 4 and Wolfenstein 3D were my favorites.

Only way after, when I decided to buy the Nokia N9 as my main smartphone, did I discover the wonderful world of Linux in the form of MeeGo Debian-based operating system.

So I started programming for myself, first by writing text-based RPGs in Turbo Pascal, but it wasn't enough for me - I wanted to enter the tech industry to work there until I die, so I got into university for a postgraduate degree on the topic of mathematical support and administration of information systems, all while working as a sysadmin and project lead.

Then I decided to get into QA engineering, since I always liked dissecting stuff and had a keen eye for inconsistencies.

Hope the content of this blog will be of any use for whoever searches for solutions of software problems.
